Originally an aspiring writer of the great American experimental novel without the patience to match, I have mostly gravitated towards more concise forms of literary expression perhaps influenced by my self taught professional photography career.  To create larger works from these shorter pieces I have instead worked on creating many serial projects such as thematic poetry collections and humorous "list" booklets.  Likewise I have many serial photography works.  I essentially shoot with several serial themes in my head and plug them in where the images fit.  Eventually I hope to complete these dozen or so multiyear projects.  I admit it is a bit ridiculous.

Recently I discovered the word cloud form and have been trying my hand at it.  I think of it as a floating, stream of consciousness, non-linear poem in the guise of its thematic shape.  I am eager to see how far I can take this.
